1. Define the room and use case
Start with where the furniture will be used, not only with a product name. A hotel bedroom, restaurant dining room and residential living room require different durability, cleaning and delivery decisions.
- Room: living room, dining room, bedroom, study, hotel or restaurant.
- Use: residential, hospitality, contract or retail display, including expected traffic and cleaning routine.

2. Freeze dimensions and construction
